We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys coffee, takes pride in preparing high-quality drinks, and knows how to provide warm, professional customer service. The ideal candidate has previous barista experience and is comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment while maintaining consistency and attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for an experienced barista who wants to be part of a growing local coffee shop and help us build an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Prepare high-quality espresso-based beverages, including lattes, cappuccinos, americanos, macchiatos, mochas, and other specialty drinks. Properly steam and texture milk for different beverages. Maintain consistency in espresso shots, drink recipes, presentation, and quality. Create latte art when appropriate. Prepare teas, matcha drinks, smoothies, frappes, and other non-coffee beverages. Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide friendly and professional service. Operate the Shift4 POS system and accurately process cash, credit card, and digital payments. Work efficiently during busy periods while maintaining drink quality and customer service. Keep the espresso machine, grinders, counters, equipment, and customer areas clean and organized. Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures. Restock cups, milk, syrups, coffee beans, pastries, and other supplies as needed. Monitor product quality and freshness and communicate inventory needs to management. Assist with opening and closing duties when scheduled. Work cooperatively with other team members to keep café operations running smoothly. Qualifications Previous professional barista experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of espresso preparation and milk steaming. Experience preparing specialty coffee beverages. Latte art experience is highly preferred. Ability to work quickly and calmly during busy periods. Strong customer service and communication skills. Dependable, punctual, positive, and professional. Comfortable handling cash and using a POS system. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform normal café duties. Willingness to learn Caffe Bean recipes, standards, and procedures. What We're Looking For We especially want someone who understands that a great café experience is about more than making a drink.
