Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process orders, payments, and refunds. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and addressing inquiries or concerns promptly. Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions. Assist in food preparation and serving of light snacks or baked goods as needed. Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Skills Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to handle transactions smoothly. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours. Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy. Experience in serving food and beverages in a café or retail environment is preferred.
