Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for customers through exceptional service, expertly crafted beverages, and a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality. Assist in food preparation tasks, including handling light culinary duties and maintaining cleanliness in food areas. Provide friendly, in-person customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process cash transactions and handle payments efficiently. Maintain cleanliness by regularly sanitizing workstations, equipment, and dining areas following food safety sanitizing procedures. Follow food safety management practices to ensure all food handling meets health regulations and standards. Support the team with general cleaning duties, including dishwashing, trash disposal, and maintaining a tidy workspace. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is preferred; fine dining or restaurant experience is a plus. Knowledge of food safety protocols and sanitizing procedures is essential for maintaining high standards. Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently; manual handling skills are required for managing supplies and equipment. Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory management, and measuring ingredients accurately. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor; experience in in-person customer interactions is highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions smoothly.
