Great Mall of the Bay Area, Milpitas, CA About Us Dumont Creamery & Café is a new neighborhood creamery and café serving high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and handcrafted ice cream. We're looking for a skilled, reliable barista who takes pride in excellent drinks and great customer service. Job Responsibilities Prepare espresso-based drinks, drip coffee, specialty beverages, and other menu items to high standards Maintain consistent drink quality, presentation, and speed during busy periods Operate and properly clean espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment Provide friendly, efficient customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere Handle cash and card transactions accurately Keep the bar, counters, and customer areas clean and organized Restock supplies, milk, syrups, and cups as needed Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines Assist with light food/ice cream service when needed Support opening and closing procedures Requirements Minimum 2-4 years of barista experience (espresso bar preferred) Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and professional Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Availability for mornings, weekends, and some evenings Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25-30 lbs What We Offer Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Tips Flexible scheduling Opportunity to grow with a new local business Friendly team environment How to Apply Please send your résumé and a short note about your barista experience to: Or message us directly with availability.
