Wage range : $21.90 per hour Your Impact In a hospital setting, a barista plays a crucial role in enhancing the overall guest and employee experience by providing a comforting and familiar environment through the creation of quality coffee beverages. The presence of a skilled barista in a hospital adds a touch of warmth and care, positively impacting the overall atmosphere and fostering a sense of community within the medical facility. Job Specific Duties Operates cash register with an accuracy of 99.85% (plus or minus). Sets up appropriate cashier bank. Documents cash received and charges made. Identifies customer needs and refers to appropriate department for follow-up when necessary. Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions. Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino. Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies etc. for coffee bar. Stocking refrigerators with beverages, condiments etc. Cleaning, sanitizing, polishing general work areas, this includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and throwing trash. Prepare and gather items needed for meal service. Provides exceptional service to all guests. Perform other duties as assigned What you will need ServSafe® Certification and State Food Handlers Card Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
