We're a small shop, so everyone is involved in operating and providing the ideal environment and experience. The key requirement is a passion for the business. You do not need barista experience. We will train you — properly, on professional-grade equipment. As we've said before: we can teach you to pull a shot, but we can't teach a genuine smile. What you'll do Hospitality first. Engage with our regulars and newcomers alike, sharing what we're pouring without pretension. Learn the regulars. Send first-timers away feeling like they found their spot. Make coffee with passion. Dial in espresso daily — yield, timing, flavor. You're not a button-pusher; you're responsible for the integrity of our beans from hopper to cup. Artistry. Pour clean latte art and keep milk texture consistent across every drink. Show up for the community. We host cuppings and coffee lessons for our neighbors, and you'll help run them. Teaching someone their first tasting is part of the job here. Operations. Maintain a clean, organized, efficient bar through the peak morning rush. We're happy to provide comprehensive training for the right person. Pay and hours $17.00/hour to start. $17.75/hour once you've completed training. Plus tips — our baristas have recently averaged over $23/hour all in. Tips vary with season and shift, so this is a recent average rather than a guarantee.
