Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS. Handle cash transactions, process payments, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures within the café environment. Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service that enhances their experience and encourages repeat visits. Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or accuracy. Restock supplies, manage inventory levels, and ensure the café area is organized and inviting at all times. Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and adherence to health regulations. Experience Prior experience as a barista or in food service is highly preferred; familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Demonstrated ability in POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders swiftly during peak hours. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures within a café or retail setting. Experience in serving food or beverages in the food industry is advantageous; familiarity with cashiering and food preparation enhances your candidacy.
