Barista Job Description Position:

Barista Shams Cafe Shams Cafe is looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking baristas to join our team. We are a specialty coffee shop with a modern Middle Eastern-inspired concept focused on quality drinks, customer experience, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, matcha, and specialty beverages Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming environment Take customer orders accurately using the POS system Maintain cleanliness throughout the café during shifts Restock cups, syrups, lids, milk, and supplies Assist with opening, midday, and closing duties Follow drink recipes and café standards consistently Maintain food safety and sanitation standards Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Support team members and communicate professionally Qualifications Positive attitude and strong work ethic Friendly and professional communication skills Ability to multitask and stay organized Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn and take direction Reliable transportation and punctuality Barista experience is preferred but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Comfortable working around hot equipment and beverages Employment Details Part-time and full-time positions available Flexible scheduling may be available 90-day trial period applies to all new hires Must be available on weekends and holidays when needed Pay Starting pay based on experience Tips included in addition to hourly wage To Apply Please send your resume and availability to Shams Cafe or apply in person.
