Job Description
Barista's at Zoe coffee house perform a range of duties including preparing our full menu of espresso drinks, shakes & smoothies. Also, assembling crepes and panini sandwiches. General cleaning is part of the job including cleaning equipment, washing dishes, cleaning restrooms & floors. Ability to multi-task, provide excellent customer service, handle cash with accuracy will make you successful as well! Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to move quickly, kneel on knees and stand up throughout the day. Basic reading and computer skills are necessary. Must have or obtain a California Food Handler Card (2 hour online class for less than $10). Experience is preferred but definitely not required. We teach new employees how to do everything so if you like preparing food and drinks in a busy environment this is the job for you! Shifts start at 7:30 am and go until anywhere between 3:30-5 pm, we're open 7 days a week. Sunday availability is required. Must be able to come to work & stay at work in snowy/inclement weather. This is a great place to work, we love to work with college school schedules as well. Job starts at $16.90 plus tips and when training is complete we give you a raise!
