JOB OVERVIEW

We're a new specialty coffee shop serving organic, carefully sourced coffee, matcha, and other drinks in a minimal, design-focused space with a creative and welcoming vibe. We're looking for a Barista / Food Prep team member to prepare drinks / food menu items, and support smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and works well in a team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effectively make drinks, prep and assemble food orders according to recipe to ensure quality and consistency
• Ensure accuracy of orders
• Properly and safely use, wash, clean, and maintain all equipment
• Assist with stocking and rotating products to ensure freshness
• Performing food safety and quality practices and measures

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in making coffee drinks and experience in kitchen environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and cleanliness
• Collaborative attitude with other team members
• Flexibility in working hours, including Holidays, evenings and weekends as needed Applicant must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide documentation to work in the United States legally

Pay:

$17.50 - $19.00 per hour
