Duties Process retail sales transactions accurately using POS systems such as Shift 4, ensuring quick and friendly service. Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee drinks, teas, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash and card payments, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, equipment, and seating spaces by performing regular cleaning duties in accordance with food safety standards. Assist customers with menu inquiries, product recommendations, and general questions to enhance their experience. Follow food handling and safety protocols during beverage preparation and food service to ensure compliance with health regulations. Support team members during busy periods by efficiently managing serving stations and ensuring smooth flow of service. Skills Proficiency with POS systems such as Shift 4 for accurate transaction processing. Previous food service or café experience with a focus on beverage preparation and customer service excellence. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions, giving accurate change, and balancing registers. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Barista experience preferred, including familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation. Time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during high-volume periods.
