Job Description
Are you a parent with young kids in school and looking for work while they're in school? Are you a student who needs flexibility in your schedule? We could be for you. We are looking for a mature Coffee Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea, snacks, and desserts. You will also prepare snacks for cooking. Coffee/Boba Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items, taking orders and anything else needed to operate a store. Responsibilities Greet customers as they enter Prepare beverages and snacks following recipes Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Keep the restaurant clean Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs Comply with health and safety regulations Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items Anything else needed to operate a successful cafe Skills Prefer people who have worked for Starbucks or other major coffee chains Need to be available 6:30am-11:00am Flexibility to work various shifts Ability to gauge customers' preferences Excellent communication skills
