Duties Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining area Assist baristas by restocking supplies, preparing ingredients, and supporting food and beverage presentation Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and process transactions using POS systems such as Toast or Clover Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food handling and preparation activities Support cash handling procedures with basic math skills for accurate cashiering and sales recording Maintain cleanliness of workstations, counters, and service areas throughout shifts Help with food preparation tasks to support efficient café operations and ensure timely service Skills Previous barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation Familiarity with POS systems like Clover or Toast for efficient order processing Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Excellent time management to handle multiple tasks smoothly during busy periods Basic math proficiency for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café setting Experience in serving or food industry roles that require attention to detail and quick thinking This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in food service, coffee crafting, and retail operations.
