Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Handle cash register operations, including processing cash transactions, giving correct change, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and responding to inquiries with a positive attitude. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas, following food safety guidelines. Assist with food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving drinks, processing payments, and maintaining a tidy workspace. Skills Experience with café or food service environments, demonstrating familiarity with beverage preparation and food handling procedures. Proficiency in using POS systems such as Clover POS for retail transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and balancing registers. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts. Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus.
