The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and capable of creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role involves preparing beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized environment to ensure a positive experience for our customers. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages and other menu items with precision and consistency Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling Manage customer orders efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas Assist with food handling, food safety practices, and basic food preparation as needed Restock supplies and ensure the café area is tidy and inviting Engage with customers in a friendly manner, promoting sales of products and upselling when appropriate Follow health regulations and safety procedures at all times Skills Proven experience as a Barista, with knowledge of coffee preparation techniques Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving protocols Experience in sales, food industry practices, and food preparation is preferred Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Join our team to deliver exceptional coffee experiences while developing your skills in a dynamic café environment.
