Position Details:

We're hiring a part-time barista for 2-4 days/week starting in November. This is a year-round position with time off during the off-season in May and Oct-Nov. Perfect for those who love working in a beautiful, customer-centered environment. Barista experience is required.

Hours:

Tuesday - Saturday, 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM 8-32 hours per week, based on your availability and our needs

What You'll Do:

Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, tea, matcha, and hot cocoa with care and precision Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, embodying the spirit of hygge for every customer interaction Order pastries and other café items from local suppliers Keep the café organized, clean, and visually inviting Process transactions with accuracy and perform retail math, including cash handling, daily reconciliation, and managing inventory Suggest products from our retail showroom and engage customers about their purchases, helping create a seamless café and shopping experience Be part of a small, close-knit team that values creativity, attention to detail, and community connections

What We're Looking For:

Barista experience is required A passion for delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Ability to support the showroom by recommending products and engaging with customers Must be available to work part-time hours, year-round Experience in retail sales, including using POS systems and cash registers Proficiency in social media management and photography for marketing purposes Strong retail math skills for cash handling, inventory tracking, and ordering Ability to stand on your feet for hours at a time.
