Pay:

Starting at $16/hour + tips . Duties Prepare a variety of beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, and other drink options, ensuring consistency and quality. Operate POS systems Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change while maintaining accurate cash handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food preparation stations, beverage equipment, and customer seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing any questions or special requests with enthusiasm. Be a positive influence on the team, acknowledging that we all must take pride in our work in leading by example. Kindness is required! Assist in food handling and preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food safety protocols are followed diligently. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly without compromising quality or safety standards. Experience Previous barista experience or food service experience is preferred but not required; we provide training for motivated candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Square is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and managing retail math tasks. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in a café or retail setting. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours and ensure smooth operations.
