Job Summary A Gelato Boy Gelato Barista plays a key role in our growing company as the face of our brand with a constant focus on providing the world's best gelato and the world's best customer service. The right candidates are customer service super heroes that hustle, scrap, focus, and compete. The ideal Gelato Barista is great at taking direction, outstanding with customers, self-motivated, team focused, and brings a positive, upbeat energy to everything they do. We are looking for someone who: Is energetic, with an infectious smile, a magnetic personality, and great communication skills. Is organized and excels in a team environment Can take direction and run with it! Is calm under pressure Has a knowledge and appreciation of the best gelato on the planet Prior experience, specifically in the service industry, is a huge plus, but not required Responsibilities and Duties Can stay unapologetically positive in a high volume & customer-facing position for 6-8 hours Can stand on your feet for long periods and perform physically-demanding tasks 16 years or older At least 4 days of open availability per week, including weekends, holidays, and summers Respect for safety and hygiene standards Ability to work in close proximity to others Qualifications and Skills You must provide at least two solid references that can talk about your previous experience in customer service or as an awesome person We are looking for bubbly, happy, engaging personalities…no shy applicants, please!
