As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee drinks, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. What you'll do Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while adhering to food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide outstanding service and create memorable experiences. Operate POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including food preparation areas and serving stations. Demonstrate excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to foster a positive work environment and support each other in daily tasks. Stay informed about coffee trends and menu offerings to enhance customer recommendations. Basic qualifications Previous barista experience or strong background in the food service industry is preferred. Solid understanding of food handling practices and food safety regulations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations. Preferred qualifications Experience with POS systems is a plus. Strong sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
