We are looking for someone with weekday availability who is willing to fill in as needed. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food and beverage preparation, sales, and retail operations within a vibrant café setting. Prior experience in food service or coffee industry is preferred; training will be provided. The position involves engaging with customers, preparing beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Our hours:

Closed Monday 8AM-4PM Tuesday-Saturday 8AM-2PM Sunday Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks following company standards Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, equipment, and seating areas Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies as needed Handle cash transactions accurately using Toast POS systems and perform basic math for transactions Upsell products to increase sales opportunities while ensuring customer needs are met Follow food safety regulations and health guidelines at all times Requirements Previous experience as a Barista or in the food industry is preferred; training will be provided Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings and afternoons as needed
