What You'll Do As a Barista at Cristos Coffee, you will be responsible for: Welcoming customers and providing genuine, friendly service Preparing espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, matcha, refreshers, and other beverages according to Cristos recipes and standards Preparing and serving food and pastries Operating our POS system and handling customer transactions accurately Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming café Restocking supplies and helping with daily shop organization Following proper food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures Learning about our coffee, menu, and seasonal offerings so you can confidently help customers Working as part of a team while also being comfortable working independently Helping create a positive atmosphere for both customers and coworkers Supporting special events, promotions, and other shop activities as needed What We're Looking For The right person for Cristos is someone who: Is dependable and shows up on time Has a positive, friendly attitude Enjoys working with people Takes care in doing things correctly and consistently Can work efficiently during busy periods without sacrificing customer service Keeps their workspace clean and organized Is willing to learn and receive coaching Can follow recipes, procedures, and directions Works well with others and contributes positively to the team Is comfortable taking initiative when there is work to be done Previous barista or food & beverage experience is preferred. Coffee experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who has the right attitude, work ethic, and customer-service mindset. Schedule & Availability This is a part-time position , with approximately 10-25 hours per week , depending on availability and business needs. We are especially looking for team members who can provide: Weekend availability Holiday availability when needed Consistent weekly availability Flexibility to work morning and/or afternoon shifts Because we are a small team, reliability and consistent attendance are very important .
