Barista - Year-Round Position Grand County Roastery | Granby, CO About Us Grand County Roastery is a locally owned coffee shop in Granby, Colorado. We're passionate about serving high-quality, delicious coffee in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere while helping our customers learn more about the world of coffee. Our cafe is social, lively, fast-paced, and fun, and we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of a team and connecting with customers. About the Position We are looking for an enthusiastic, dependable, and capable Barista to join our team for a year-round position. We are currently hiring specifically for our closing shift, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM. Applicants must be available to work this shift consistently throughout the year. Weekend availability is strongly preferred. Our cafe serves high-quality coffee and espresso drinks, pastries, a small selection of breakfast items, and snacks. As a barista, you'll prepare drinks and food, take customer orders, provide friendly service, and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient cafe. The ideal candidate is outgoing, communicates well, manages their time effectively, and enjoys interacting with customers in a fast-paced environment. Previous barista or coffee experience is preferred, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong work ethic are equally important. Responsibilities Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service Take customer orders accurately and efficiently Prepare high-quality espresso-based drinks and other beverages Prepare and serve pastries, breakfast items, and snacks Handle cash and other forms of payment responsibly Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all products Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management Keep workstations, equipment, and customer areas clean and organized Follow applicable food safety, workplace safety, and sanitation procedures Restock products and supplies as needed Work efficiently and stay organized during busy periods Contribute to a positive, supportive, and fun team environment What We're Looking For Previous barista, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with customers Strong communication and time-management skills Dependable and punctual Able to work well independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment Attention to detail and commitment to serving a high-quality product Willingness to learn about coffee, espresso preparation, and our products Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe workplace If you enjoy great coffee, working with people, and being part of a lively local cafe, we'd love to hear from you.
