You will be working night shift and some morning. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service to our customers. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere in our café while ensuring that all food safety and handling standards are met. If you have a love for bubble tea and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. This job is part time, 30 -40 hours every 2 weeks! Must be able to work some morning shifts as well! Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes. Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas. Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety standards. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items. Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies; report shortages as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours. Experience Previous experience in a café , boba shop or retail environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous. Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash flow. Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is a plus. A passion for coffee culture and an eagerness to learn about different brewing techniques. Must be available to working shifts, night shifts, morning and weekends. Over 16 years old
