The position will start as a Register/Kitchen position. Once a team member is excelling in both Register and Kitchen positions they will be trained to work as a Barista. Our main goal at Wild Bloom aside from delivering high quality food and beverages is to foster community by creating a third space that welcomes everyone from all walks of life. Our ideal team member has a passion for coffee, food and community. We are a busy high volume coffee shop and are looking for team members who thrive in a busy fast-paced environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed. Assist customers with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations about menu items. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including coffee machines and cooking appliances. Handle cash transactions accurately using square POS system Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Perform inventory checks and assist in restocking supplies as needed. Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere and enhance their dining experience. Requirements Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patrons and team members. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and understanding retail math concepts. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is a plus. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude, teamwork mentality, and willingness to help others are essential traits for success in this role.
