Principle Purpose of Job Devil's Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee, possess excellent customer service skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Barista, you will play a key role in creating memorable experiences for our guests by providing high-quality coffee beverages and exceptional service. Please note that this role may involve placements in Heck's Tavern, Ranch House Restaurant, Volario's, Café Giocondo, or on our Banquets team. Our collaborative environment aims to provide growth opportunities for all employees, and while preferences are welcome, placements will be based on operational needs and skill sets. Supporting with store procedures including, opening or closing the store, cash handling, and safety and security Supporting your fellow partners during periods of high volume to keep the store operating Anticipating and delivering on your customer and store needs by getting to know your store environment and customers Supporting in creating a welcoming environment during each shift Delivering customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and creating genuine connections. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace for your customers and partners Providing quality beverages, whole bean and food products consistently for all customers in line with our recipe and presentation standardsRequirements:
Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred. Demonstrated reliability and dependability in previous work experiences. Passion for coffee and knowledge of different coffee varieties, brewing methods, and flavor profiles. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Positive attitude, teamwork mindset, and willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment. Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed. Food safety certification (e.g., ServSafe) is a plus. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift/carry moderate weights (20-30 lbs). Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.Compensation Description:
