Barista

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages and providing excellent customer service. If you have a passion for coffee, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and have exceptional interpersonal skills, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, such as espresso, cappuccino, and lattes
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service
• Upsell additional products to customers
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is required
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
• Familiarity with POS systems, preferably Toast POS
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong multitasking abilities
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including your selection of holidays.
• Must be available 4 shifts a week, including at least one weekend day.
• Compensation
• Minimum at start, credit card and cash tips can be collected daily once fully trained.
