Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them with menu selections, answering questions about ingredients and specials. Expedite and assemble orders accurately to ensure customers recieve their food on time. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, payments, and receipts. Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and basic math calculations for change. Promote sales by upselling menu items, specials, or beverages to enhance customer experience and increase revenue. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, food prep stations, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations. Support food handling procedures, including bussing tables, stocking supplies, and ensuring a tidy environment at all times. Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cashiering, or customer service within quick service or fast food restaurants. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing. Strong communication skills to engage with customers confidently and professionally. Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy. Previous restaurant or café experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
