Job Overview Join our vibrant café team as a Barista Cashier, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for every guest. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, taking their orders with enthusiasm and professionalism. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items following established recipes and quality standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling. Manage cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and issuing receipts. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas. Ensure food safety standards are consistently met through proper food handling and preparation techniques. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests. Support team members during busy periods by multitasking between serving, cashiering, and food prep duties. Experience Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Proven ability in sales techniques to upsell products and enhance customer satisfaction. Experience in cashiering, cash handling, or retail math to ensure accurate transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for daily operations. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
