Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and efficient Server/Barista to join our dynamic café team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest—from taking orders to crafting high-quality beverages and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, enjoys working with people, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a great opportunity to grow within the food and beverage industry while building strong service and hospitality skills. Duties & Responsibilities Accurately take customer orders using our POS system while providing a warm and welcoming interaction Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with consistency, quality, and attention to presentation Assist with food preparation while following all food safety and proper handling procedures Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable guest experience Handle cash and card transactions with accuracy, including basic cashiering responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health and safety standards Engage with customers by offering product knowledge, recommendations, and attentive service Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management to keep operations running smoothly Qualifications & Requirements Previous barista experience or knowledge of coffee preparation is preferred Strong customer service skills with a friendly, outgoing personality Experience with Toast POS system is a plus Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for handling transactions and retail calculations Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Ability to stay organized, detail-oriented, and maintain a positive attitude under pressure Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays We are passionate about creating a space where guests feel welcomed and team members feel valued.
