Barista Shift Leader

Responsibilities Lead and support the café team during your shift, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, food items, and snacks with attention to detail and food safety standards Manage cash handling, POS transactions using systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, and perform cashiering duties accurately Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area Train new team members on food preparation, serving techniques, POS usage, and customer service protocols Enforce food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for customers and staff Assist in resolving customer inquiries or complaints promptly to uphold our reputation for outstanding service Skills Proven experience as a barista with strong coffee-making skills and knowledge of food service operations Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts Strong customer service orientation with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests Leadership qualities to motivate team members and oversee shift activities effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales tracking Knowledge of food safety standards, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced café or retail environment while maintaining attention to detail Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your energy fuels our success!
