Duties Prepare a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring quality and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Toast and Square POS to process sales accurately and efficiently. Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide friendly, attentive service to enhance their café experience. Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for change. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by properly handling food items, preparing light food offerings, and adhering to food safety protocols. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high-quality service. Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring the café environment is inviting and organized. Qualifications Previous barista experience with a strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques. Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers. Experience operating POS systems. Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours. Ability to serve food safely while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in a café setting.
