Our baristas create Juan Valdez coffee beverages while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
• Take customer orders and process payments using a cash register or Square system.
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that each customer has a positive experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop, including the counter, seating area, and restroom.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality and freshness of products.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and smooth workflow.
• Upsell additional products or menu items to customers.
• Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
• Describe menu items to costumers o suggest products.
• Defrost or reheat and serve food.
• Receive or stock supplies or retail products.
• Open and close the register and cashflow.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate math skills for cash handling and order processing.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service.
• Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with others.
