Job Summary Join our vibrant team at Sweet Cone Alabama as an Ice Cream Scooper, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will create delightful experiences for our customers. In this energetic role, you will serve up delicious ice cream treats with a smile, ensuring each guest receives exceptional service in a fast-paced, fun environment. Your ability to handle food with care, operate POS systems efficiently, and maintain a clean workspace will contribute to the overall success of our establishment. Duties Scoop and serve ice cream and other frozen desserts accurately and efficiently, maintaining portion control standards Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions smoothly Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace, including cleaning scoops, utensils, counters, and equipment regularly Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions accurately, and give correct change Assist in food preparation tasks such as topping stations or preparing cones and cups for service Ensure food safety standards are followed at all times, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures Requirements Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments preferred Strong time management skills to serve customers promptly during busy periods Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and positive communication style Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced setting Join us in creating memorable moments by serving up smiles!
