Responsibilities Serve a variety of ice cream flavors and toppings efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions accurately and quickly. Assist customers with selections, upselling additional items like toppings or specialty desserts to enhance their experience. Maintain cleanliness of the scooping station, utensils, and seating areas in accordance with health regulations. Handle cash transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties, with accuracy and integrity. Restock supplies regularly, including ice cream containers, cones, napkins, and utensils to ensure smooth operations. Provide friendly customer service by answering questions about flavors, ingredients, and allergy information while creating a lively atmosphere. Requirements Previous experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently. Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending or lifting supplies. Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or restaurant setting is advantageous.
