Job Description
Matcharista / Farmers Market Barista (Weekends) That Matcha Girl is looking for an energetic, dependable team member to join us at the Palafox Market and other local farmers markets! If you enjoy working with people, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and don't mind getting your steps in, we'd love to meet you. This is a great opportunity to earn extra income on the weekends while working with a fun, growing small business specializing in premium Japanese matcha and Vietnamese coffee. What You'll Do Prepare and serve handcrafted matcha drinks and Vietnamese coffee Provide friendly, welcoming customer service Operate the Square POS system and confidently handle cash transactions Keep the booth clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the market Help set up and break down our market booth Load and unload equipment before and after each event (must be able to comfortably lift at least 40 lbs.) Work efficiently during busy rushes while maintaining attention to detail Support your teammates wherever needed Can't be camera shy What We're Looking For Saturday and Sunday availability is required Opportunity to pick up additional weekday markets as they become available Friendly, positive attitude and strong work ethic Team player who communicates well and jumps in wherever needed Comfortable working outdoors in both the Florida summer heat and cooler winter weather Able to stay calm and organized during high-volume rushes Fast learner with a sense of urgency Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must Experience Preferred (but not required): Barista experience Bartending experience Cash handling experience Square POS experience Matcha knowledge (a huge plus!)
