Job Description
Café Associate - Now Hiring We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and dependable Café Associate to join our team! No barista/Kitchen experience is required — we are happy to train the right person. What matters most to us is finding someone who enjoys working with people, learns quickly, communicates well, and can stay organized in a busy café environment. What We're Looking For The right candidate should:
- Be available to work mornings during the week.
- Be friendly, outgoing, and comfortable speaking with many different customers throughout the day
- Speak clearly and communicate well with customers and coworkers
- Work well as part of a team
- Be able to remember drinks, orders, regular customers, and café procedures
- Be a strong multitasker who can stay organized during busy periods
- Be a fast learner and willing to learn beverage preparation
- Be dependable, punctual, and ready to work
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be comfortable using a POS/register and handling customer transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Learn to prepare coffee, espresso drinks, matcha, teas, specialty beverages, and other café drinks
- Assist with light food preparation and serving
- Process customer transactions using our POS system
- Restock cups, ingredients, supplies, and other café essentials
- Keep counters, equipment, workstations, and customer areas clean
- Follow proper food handling and food safety procedures
- Help teammates during busy periods and be willing to jump in wherever needed
- Learn our menu, recipes, products, and regular customers Experience Previous café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience is a plus, but it is not required.
