Beverage Cart Attendant

Description:

The Beverage Cart Attendant at Wellington National Holdings LLC is responsible for providing high-quality refreshment services to members and guests on the golf course. This role ensures superior guest experience by proactively circulating the course to offer a variety of beverages and snacks while maintaining strict adherence to safety and alcohol service regulations.

Requirements:

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operates the beverage cart in a safe and respectful manner, adhering to all golf course etiquette and safety protocols. Provides immediate and professional food and beverage service to golfers throughout the course. Maintains a fully stocked and organized cart, including ice, beverages, snacks, and necessary condiments. Processes transactions using the club's point-of-sale (POS) system, including member charges and credit card payments. Inventories all products at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure accurate accounting and restocking. Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the beverage cart. Monitors guest alcohol consumption and ensures compliance with all state and local liquor laws. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of customer service orientation. Strong verbal communication skills to interact with club members and guests. Basic mathematical skills for handling cash and processing transactions. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a fast pace. Knowledge of golf course etiquette and basic rules of the game

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a hospitality, country club, or retail environment is highly desirable. Current local food handler and alcohol service certifications.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, and drive for extended periods in various weather conditions (heat, sun, light rain). Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Ability to frequently reach, bend, and stoop to stock and clean the beverage cart.

Additional Requirements:

Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages in the local jurisdiction. Valid driver's license required to operate the beverage cart.
