This hybrid role combines the craft of specialty coffee with the responsibility of ensuring a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate is committed to hospitality, detail-oriented, and eager to represent illy Caffé by delivering consistent and memorable guest experiences. Pay $12-14/hr base + tips (average tips range $2-8/hr) Duties Provide exceptional customer service with warmth, professionalism, and respect. Prepare espresso drinks, cold brew, and specialty coffees. Handle POS and cash accurately Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café Work collaboratively to support smooth daily operations Experience Previous barista experience of 2 years is required. Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and knowledge of various coffee types is advantageous. Experience with POS (Toast) is highly desirable. Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
