Barista & Cashier The Barista & Cashier is responsible for creating a welcoming guest experience while preparing beverages, handling transactions, and supporting daily café operations in a fast-paced environment. This role combines customer service, beverage preparation, food handling, and front-of-house support while maintaining company standards in service, cleanliness, and presentation. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, organized, and passionate about hospitality and guest experience. Responsibilities Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages to company standards Provide friendly and efficient customer service Operate POS system and accurately process cash and card transactions Assist guests with menu questions and product recommendations Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-of-house, beverage stations, and dining areas Restock pastries, beverages, retail items, and supplies throughout shifts Support with light food prep and packaging as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning procedures Work collaboratively with bakery, kitchen, and front-of-house teams Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs Previous café, coffee, cashier, bakery, or hospitality experience preferred but not required Schedule & Environment Flexible schedule including mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed Full-time and part-time opportunities available Fast-paced café and hospitality environment Preferred Traits Friendly, energetic, and outgoing personality Attention to detail and consistency Passion for hospitality, coffee, and guest experience Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service periods
