Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and food items with attention to detail and consistency. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently to process retail sales transactions accurately. Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operations, change distribution, and balancing cash drawers at shift end. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in all food preparation and serving areas in accordance with health regulations. Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to ensure quality and freshness of offerings. Support team members during busy periods by managing serving stations, restocking supplies, and ensuring smooth workflow. Skills Proven experience as a barista or in a café environment with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques.
