Job Description

Proof of the Pudding (POP) is the food service provider for the Atlanta Hawks Basketball Team at the Emory Sports Medicine Complex. This complex is the official practice facility of the Atlanta Hawks. POP provides meal services multiple times per day year-round to ensure players, staff, and coaches are fueled with a health-focused menu. POP is seeking baristas to assist in a inhouse coffeehouse, be a front facing presence for the clients, making gourmet customized coffee beverages and ensuring quality is always the same.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare coffee, espresso, and specialty drinks with consistency and care Greet customers and take orders Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café and equipment Restock supplies and assist with inventory as needed Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
Prior barista experience minimum 2+ years Passion for coffee and customer service Friendly attitude and strong communication skills Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure Reliable, punctual, and a team player Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Background Check is required
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position will report to and work from the Emory Sports Medicine Complex. This position will require standing, lifting, and moving product, equipment, and food items. Food and Beverage Service will consist of a hospitable and social atmosphere with food, beverage, and A+ customer service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Prolonged periods of standing and moving through a kitchen and food service area Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items Ability to perform physical tasks; such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 30 lbs.

Position Salary & Benefits:
