Description & Requirements As a Trellis Coffee Bar Barista you'll be the face of our business operations. We are looking for someone who is excited about coffee and our overall company culture. We value a team that reflects our community and welcome applicants of all backgrounds. This current opening is a part-time position (around 15 hours/week) that requires closing shift availability. For this position, specialty coffee experience is prioritized. In addition, we expect all of our baristas to: Begin with an attitude of learning. Develop a deep understanding for all of our product offerings. Develop and be able to display an understanding of coffee processes and brew types. Be open to a training pathway that will lead through a progression of different positions and skills that will progress based upon employee aptitude and teachability. Be able to execute all of our product offerings to our standard of quality Provide exceptional customer service to include greeting, welcoming, educating on products and coffee in general, as well as having an eagerness to meet customer needs Keep stations and seating areas clean and organized Be proactive and taking initiative in problem solving, dealing with bottlenecks Work on speed and efficiency while primarily maintaining quality. Be eager and ready to help with other tasks as needed (prep, dish washing, stocking shelves, etc.) Be an avid team player that respects others, accepts feedback from peers and leadership, and continually looks for ways to grow and improve in the role
