Barista Common Coffee & Cocktails Doraville, GA Job Details Part-time | Full-time $15 - $22 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Paid training Employee discount Qualifications Serving Customer communication Barista experience Food preparation Retail math Time management Full Job Description Duties Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cashiering and providing correct change Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and customer service stations Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about products, and provide excellent customer service Handle food handling procedures, including food safety protocols and proper food preparation techniques Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality Qualifications Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order accuracy Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed
