Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Barista, where you'll be the heart of our café experience! In this energetic role, you will craft delicious non-alcoholic beverages, serve food and drinks with enthusiasm, and deliver exceptional customer service that keeps guests coming back. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, beverage preparation, and cash handling while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Duties Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages and non-alcoholic drinks according to established recipes and standards Handle retail sales transactions accurately using a POS system, including processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, beverage prep zones, and seating areas to ensure food safety and hygiene compliance Engage with customers warmly, providing excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations Manage food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks while adhering to food safety protocols Keep track of inventory levels for beverages and supplies; restock items as needed to ensure smooth operations Follow proper food handling procedures and safety standards to uphold health regulations at all times Experience Prior experience in food service or café environments is highly preferred; barista experience is a plus but not required Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in processing transactions is a plus but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively in a fast-paced setting Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and cleanliness standards Time management skills to handle busy periods confidently while delivering prompt service Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your energy makes every guest's experience special!
