Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring high quality and presentation standards. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently. Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items. Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep surfaces, equipment, and seating areas, adhering to food safety standards. Restock supplies regularly, including coffee beans, cups, lids, napkins, and other essentials to ensure smooth operations. Follow food handling protocols during beverage preparation and food service to ensure safety and quality. Requirements Previous barista experience or food service background is preferred; familiarity with café operations is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests. Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks like cleaning and stocking efficiently.
