• Little James was named for General James Oglethorpe — a small nod to the fact that Ann Street and Oglethorpe Avenue nearly meet just a few blocks apart, and to the man whose name is written all over this city.

It's a fitting name for a place that belongs as much to Savannah as it does to The Ann. We're a café by morning and a cocktail bar by night, built around Mediterranean simplicity and Southern warmth. That means espresso pulled with real care, scratch pastries, and a room that fills up with regulars, guests, neighbors, chess players on Thursdays, and whoever wanders in off the lane. As a barista here, you're the first person most of them see. The first "good morning," the drink someone orders the same way every day, the reason they come back. It's a craft role and a hospitality role at once, and we take both seriously. • The Barista is the foundation of the café. The Barista is responsible for honoring each and every customer by providing excellent customer service and a high-quality product. The Barista is a true professional that displays a positive attitude at all times to ensure the return of our customers who are the reason for our business.
• Responsibilities
• + Develops enthusiastically satisfied customers all of the time. + Provides quality beverages consistently for all customers + Maintains Quality store operations + Contributes to store profitability + Takes responsibility to learn all aspects of the barista position
• Qualifications
• Education/Formal Training
• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Experience
• Previous experience in a customer service role strongly preferred.
• Knowledge/Skills
• + Must have excellent customer service skills.
