Job Description

Overview Le Gabrielle is looking for dependable, detail oriented, and enthusiastic team members to join our growing team. No previous bar or barista experience is required, but a fast paced work ethic and the ability to manage oneself with minimal supervision is a requirement. Our bar staff wear many hats and must be able to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage themselves well with little oversight from management. Additionally, the ideal candidate should be able to work well alone or as part of a team.
Note:
Because this position does require to prepare and serve alcoholic beverages, applicants are required to be at least 18 years or older in order to qualify for the position. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness of bar related equipment and surfaces Prepare various items such as crepes, smoothies, coffee, and alcohol quickly Prepare and assemble a variety of fresh crepes according to established recipes and customer preferences Operate POS system (Clover) to process transactions such as togo orders or Doordash orders Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining a hygienic workspace Requirements Must be available to work MOST weekends and a minimum of 1 dinner shift (5pm-9pm). Occasional time off requests for weekends are permitted. Previous barista or bartending experience is a plus, but not required. Ability to operate a POS system (Clover) and help fulfil Togo orders as necessary. Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods Ability to multitask or prioritize orders based on what the specific scenario necessitates Ability to work well individually or as a part of a team Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment

Compensation:
The base starting pay rate for this position is $13.00/hour + TIPS. Our bar staff receives 100% of tips from any togo orders and they receive a flat percentage tip out from our servers. The amount of tips you earn will vary each day depending on the flow of business. However, typically, our bar staff will make an additional $3
  • 5 PER HOUR in tips .
Benefits:
  • FREE break food stipend each day that they work up to $16 and can enjoy any items on the menu for $16 OFF. They just pay the difference if it's over $16.
