Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Shave Ice Barista and become the heart of a fun, fast-paced, and refreshing experience! In this role, you will craft delicious shave ice treats, serve up delightful beverages, and deliver exceptional customer service that keeps guests coming back for more. Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of shave ice flavors and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and enthusiasm. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions, processing cash, card payments, and handling refunds efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food handling stations, equipment, and customer seating areas. Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and providing excellent customer service. Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling procedures during preparation and serving. Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness. Skills Experience with food service or café environments, including beverage preparation and serving drinks. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail transactions. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively with guests. Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and processing transactions accurately. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee and beverage service is a plus.
