Job Description
The Empire is looking for some highly motivated and skilled baristas that know how to handle volume. Barista experience preferred but not necessary. We are also located in downtown Des Moines, within walking distance of many local attractions which drives additional business to our location before and after events. Full or Part Time. We can be flexible, as long as you are reliable. Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to: Ability to communicate clearly with kitchen staff, management and other service staff Check customers' identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age Restock and replenish inventory and supplies Must work quickly and accurately, while still maintaining attention to detail Desire to go the extra mile to ensure a great guest experience Must be able to work well in a team setting behind the bar Engage with guests to help them make food and beverage choices Answer questions or make recommendations Help us build a fun and engaging restaurant environment Other duties as assigned
