In this lively role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a delicious, high-quality breakfast experience, ensuring all food safety standards are met, and delivering exceptional in-person customer service. Your energy and attention to detail will help set the tone for a positive guest stay, making every breakfast a delightful start to their day. Duties Oversee our breakfast operation for our hotels guests Prepare and set up breakfast buffet stations, ensuring all food items are fresh, appealing, and well-presented Assist with food preparation, including slicing, plating, and portioning according to safety and quality standards Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen stations, and food handling equipment through regular cleaning and sanitizing procedures Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including warming trays, coffee machines, toasters, and other small appliances Handle manual tasks such as weight handling of food items and replenishing supplies during service hours Process cash transactions accurately at the breakfast service point using POS (Point of Sale) systems Provide friendly in-person customer service by greeting guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating dietary needs or special requests Qualifications Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred; experience in fine dining or restaurant environments is a plus Knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures and food handling best practices Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing inventory levels Experience with POS systems for cash handling is desirable Familiarity with dietary accommodations and culinary standards within the food industry or hospitality sector is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to delivering exceptional breakfast experiences!
